Tales of Terror

Years ago, I came across a very good webpage for call of cthulhu - it was called Tales of Terror and the url was talesofterror.net. I recently found that the page is gone and so is all of the content..but I was like "LETS HIT THE WAYBACK MACHINE!" and I did. I have collected the tales of terror from the page and in honor of the authors I will present them here.

Arcane Artifacts

Devices and objects best left undisturbed...

Systemless Tales - These Tales of Terror are completely systemless and can be dropped into any roleplaying game with barely any adaptation...
Call of Cthulhu - These Tales of Terror have been written wholly or partly with Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game in mind. (But frankly, you can drop them into most other games.)
The following Tales of Terror heavily involve the Cthulhu Mythos.
The following Tales of Terror only marginally involve the Cthulhu Mythos.

  1. Funny. I wrote that story when I was a kid. Didn't expect that it would be preserved like this. :)
